The hotel is modern, luxurious, and offers stunning views. the breakfast on the first morning was enjoyable and reasonably priced. the location of the hotel is stunning and brilliant, away from the town center.

Compact, fashionable units provided with good modern bathroom, a complimentary bottle of wine, for example. Splendid food for breakfast at the lounge area. Location close enough to conferences, fine gardens, restaurant.

Loved how the apartment with a view was arranged when we arrived. It was in a secluded setting to the cinema.

The spacious units had windows that could be opened for fresh air.

There were many personal touches, we were wecomed by very friendly and helpful staff and given a private room away from a function to eliminate any disturbances. The location was lovely and had stunning views. Breakfast was very tasty! Would definately return.

The unit is spacious and nicely arranged. the views of the valley are stunning. - the hotel has a charming old-world vibe and is set in a beautiful location near Ullswater lake.

I missed having a bath but it wasn't a huge problem the shower was lovely.

This is a traditional country house hotel which has maintained its character. The staff were welcoming and helpful and I was very happy to stay here particularly as I was given the bridal suite for my one night stay - I wished I had booked for longer. Food was excellent with a good selection and the prices reflected very good value for money.
